The Hapi Project

2018/19 on - Please be aware the content below is now 'out of date' as it relates to 2017, and we are awaiting further updates from the Hapi Team in order to show you what good work they're up to, and how you can get involved.

In the meantime, here is a summary of their latest plans for 2018/19:

Our aim is aims to provide families and individuals with the skills and knowledge to empower partcipants to make positive health choices, improve their overall health and wellbeing, upskilling and increase employability opportunities.
Hapi is a 5 year Big Lottery funded project which will run until Dec 2022.  HAPI offers a variety of activities and projects to all ages including confidence building, resilience skills, managing anxiety, aqua aerobics, pilates, couch to 5k, fitness classes, digital Fridays and various training opportunities.

We will update this info further once we are able, but in the meantime, take a glance below to see the sort of thing the Hapi Team were doing before 2018!!

The HAPI project aims to provide individuals and families with the skills and knowledge to empower participants to make positive health choices to improve their overall health.

HAPI is a 2 year project funded by the Big Lottery to support residents in Rhydyfelin and surrounding areas to improve their health and wellbeing.

The HAPI team are based at the Rhydyfelin hub and can assist anyone who wishes to make improved lifestyle choices. The HAPI team can offer free 1-2-1 advice and group workshops to help you and your family get healthy together. 

We can offer workshops in food and nutrition, healthy eating, physical activity and sports, depression busting, stress management, risky behaviours and much more.
