Local Self-Referral Physio Service

Owing to Covid-19, please click here for modified details in order to access physio.

Since October 2017, there is no need to see your GP if you think you may need assessment, advice or management for issues such as sprains and strains, joint or muscular pains.   See poster below for more info.

This free service can also deal with chronic problems for which patients have already had diagnoses previously.

Patients can self refer by telephoning  01443 715012 / 715068 or use the online referral form by clicking here

A clinician from the physio department will review your symptoms over the telephone and offer you an appointment as appropriate.

Once triaged they will be offered the first available appointment in Cwm Taf, but for convenience patients can request their nearest site which in our Cluster would normally be Dewi Sant Health Park (Pontypridd) or Royal Glamorgan (Llantrisant), though this may mean a slightly longer wait.

If you need further information please telephone your surgery.
