What is RCT Together? 

RCT Together is an initiative from Rhondda Cynon Taf Council that works with local people, groups and organisations to help build strong, resilient communities.

What does RCT Together do?

Put simply, it’s here to help residents needing advice and support, or groups and organisations with an idea to improve the local area.

For individuals and residents
  • Get support when you need it
  • Help with shopping or bills
  • Energy and financial advice
  • Wellbeing checks or home visits
  • Support with loneliness or isolation
  • Signpost to services like Citizens Advice, carers’ support, or job training
  • Residents feel more connected to what’s happening around them
For groups and organisations
  • Get support with ideas and initiatives
  • Community groups start or grow local projects
  • Access funding, advice or local spaces
  • Advise and mentor
  • Apply for funding
  • Take on community buildings (Community Asset Transfers)
  • Access training and workshops
  • Link with other community projects
  • Apply for a range of funding
Community Resilience Hubs

There are seven Community Resilience Hubs across RCT where anyone can drop in for information, advice and guidance. Whether you’re dealing with housing concerns, isolation, financial pressures or looking for local services—these hubs are a welcoming place to start.
