Foodwise for Life classes
Foodwise for Life classes are free can be completed in person or online and are fun and informal, covering helpful topics that will assist you on your weight loss journey. Including an hour of supported exercise or practical cooking sessions, you’ll learn about:
- Controlling portion sizes: Discover what a healthy portion size is, and how to manage and cook with portions that are appropriately sized.
- Managing hunger and cravings: Strategies that will help you manage your cravings and maintain your diet without giving in to them.
- Moving more: Ways to incorporate more movement into your daily life? We provide many ideas to help you find a form of exercise you enjoy.
- Understanding food labels: Learn more about which parts of food labels to pay attention to and what they mean to help you make informed choices in the supermarket.
- Conquering obstacles: Overcome common hurdles such as motivation and lack of knowledge in your journey to living a healthier life.
- Swapping, not cutting out: Make healthier food choices without feeling deprived of your favourites by swapping to healthier alternatives rather than cutting out altogether.
