If you have been suffering with genital symptoms such as pain, burning or discharge, or if you are concerned about a sexually transmitted infection, then you can either speak to your GP, or arrange a full review with a GUM (genito-urinary medicine) specialist.

Due to current covid restrictions - You will either be given advice via the telephone or advised to attend clinic. Please do not just turn up at the clinic as you will not be able to be seen.
What we do
Cwm Taf Sexual Health clinic offer all aspects of contraception, sexually transmitted infection screening, advice and referral for womens’ and mens’ health matters.
This includes: Contraceptive methods: oral contraception, injections, implants, inter uterine contraceptive devices.
Sexual health screening: chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, HIV and more.
The service also provide pregnancy advisory clinics which can be accessed via walk in clinics or GP referrals and cervical cytology clinics which can be accessed by walk in or appointments. Appointments can be made by telephoning the numbers provided.
Who is it for?
Anyone requiring advice on sexual and reproductive health. We also have dedicated young peoples’ services (11 – 25 years) which
are indicated in our clinic timetable.
Can anyone use this service?
Yes our walk in services are indicated in our clinic timetables, if appointments are required this is indicated in our clinic timetable. GPs are able to refer into services as appropriate.
What to expect
All our services are confidential and tailored to meet individual needs. Where necessary we are also able to help patients by referring them to other agencies.
